STAR*Training Schedule

Welcome to the STAR*T Workshops Page.

Below is a list of FREE multimedia application workshops available to current GMU students. Registration is required, but walk-ins may be admitted on a space-available basis. (Click here for registration procedures.) Scroll down to view schedule. (The workshop schedule will be updated weekly.) .

NOTE:   Please check the individual workshop Title/Description for class prerequisites. Familiarity with Windows or OSX, including file management and working with multiple windows/ applications, is necessary for most workshops. Training in Office and Productivity Skills (TOPS) offers workshops covering Windows topics, as well as workshops in WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL and ACCESS

Hints:

  • User ID - Use your Mason User ID. For example, someone with a Mason email of bsmith4@gmu.edu would choose a WEMS User ID of bsmith4.
  • Password -
    • First time visitors should try their email password.
    • Previous users should try the password they used when registering for a workshop or event in the past.
    • If you forgot or don't know your password or would like to reset your password, Get a new password emailed to you and execute the registration process again once you have it.
